Key Rules & Conventions

The 'S' Rule for One 🧍 He / She / It + Verb-s When the subject is one person (he, she), the verb usually gets an 's'. The 'No S' Rule for Many 🧍🧍 We / They + Verb When the subject is more than one (we, they), the verb does not get an 's'. The Special 'I' and 'You' Rule 🙋‍♀️ I / You + Verb 'I' and 'you' are special! They act like plural pronouns and don't get an 's'.
