What is Being 'In the Zone'?
Have you ever been so into a game that everything else disappears? That feeling is called focus, or being 'in the zone.' It's when your mind is clear and you're only thinking about what's happening right now in the game. It helps you play your best and have more fun.

Oops, I Lost My Focus!
It's easy to get distracted. Maybe you made a mistake, the crowd is loud, or you start worrying about the score. Losing focus is totally normal and it happens to everyone, even professional athletes. The important thing isn't to never lose focus, but to know how to get it back.

A great way to refocus is to use a 'reset cue.' A reset cue is a small, quick action you choose that tells your brain, 'Okay, let's focus now.' It can be something simple like taking one deep breath, clapping your hands once, or touching the tip of your shoe.
