Subjunctive for Recommendations and Suggestions
Verbs of influence/recommendation (recomendar, sugerir, proponer, insistir en) + 'que' + Subjunctive mood.
When you present your findings, you often conclude with recommendations. Use this structure to suggest what should be done. The subject of the first verb must be different from the subject of the second (subjunctive) verb.
Impersonal Expressions for Formality
'Es' + adjective + 'que' + Subjunctive mood (e.g., Es importante que..., Es necesario que...).
To sound more academic and formal when presenting findings, use impersonal expressions. These phrases introduce opinions or necessities in a general, objective way, and they always trigger the subjunctive.
