Adjectives must agree in gender (masculine/feminine) and number (singular/plural) with the noun they modify.
For most adjectives ending in -o, change to -a for feminine nouns. Add -s for plural nouns. Adjectives ending in -e or consonants only add -s for plural. Some color adjectives (like 'naranja' or 'rosa' when referring to the color) can be invariable, but many (like 'azul', 'verde', 'rojo') change for number.
