Calculating Unit Price

To find the cost of one unit of an item, divide the total price you pay by the total number of units you receive.
Using Conversion Factors
$\text{Original Quantity} \times \frac{\text{Desired Unit}}{\text{Original Unit}} = \text{Converted Quantity}$
To convert a quantity from one unit to another, multiply the original quantity by a conversion factor. The conversion factor should be set up so that the original unit cancels out, leaving the desired unit.
