Divisibility Rule for 2
A number is divisible by 2 if its last digit is an even number (0, 2, 4, 6, or 8).
This rule helps you quickly identify even numbers. Just look at the very last digit of the number.
Divisibility Rule for 3
A number is divisible by 3 if the sum of its digits is divisible by 3.
To use this rule, add up all the digits in the number. If that sum is a multiple of 3, then the original number is also a multiple of 3.
Divisibility Rule for 5
A number is divisible by 5 if its last digit is 0 or 5.
This is a very straightforward rule. Simply check if the number ends with a 0 or a 5.
