Fraction of an Hour to Minutes
Minutes = (Fraction) × 60
To find how many minutes are in a fraction of an hour, you multiply the fraction by 60, because there are 60 minutes in one whole hour.
Fraction of a Minute to Seconds
Seconds = (Fraction) × 60
To find how many seconds are in a fraction of a minute, you multiply the fraction by 60, because there are 60 seconds in one whole minute.
Finding the Fraction of an Hour
Fraction = Number of Minutes / 60
To find what fraction of an hour a certain number of minutes is, create a fraction with the minutes on top (numerator) and 60 on the bottom (denominator). Then, simplify the fraction if you can.
