The Turn-Around Rule
a + b = b + a
This rule says you can add numbers in any order. The sum will always be the same!
Finding the Partner Fact
If you know a + b = c, then you also know b + a = c.
When you see one addition fact, you can find its partner. Just flip the first two numbers.
