1. The Basic Superlative StructureRule: To form the superlative, you use the definite article (le [luh], la [lah], les [lay]) + 'plus' (most) [ploo] or 'moins' (least) [mwan] + the adjective. The article and the adjective must agree in gender and number with the noun they describe. Example: Le garçon est le plus grand. (The boy is the tallest.)
