1. The Relative Pronoun 'Dont'Rule: We use dont (of which/whose) [dohn] to replace a phrase that starts with the preposition de (of/from) [duh]. Think of verbs like parler de (to talk about) [par-LAY duh], avoir besoin de (to need) [ah-VWAR buh-ZWAN duh], or être fier de (to be proud of) [ET-ruh fee-AIR duh].
