Rule 1: 'I' for Compound Subjects
When 'I' is part of a compound subject (performing the action), always use 'I'.
If you and another person are doing something, you are both subjects. Subject pronouns like 'I' are used for subjects. Remember to put the other person's name first out of politeness.
Rule 2: 'Me' for Compound Objects
When 'me' is part of a compound object (receiving the action or after a preposition), always use 'me'.
