Key Rules & Conventions
The 'In-Between' Rule
An entry word will be on a dictionary page ONLY if it comes alphabetically *after* the first guide word AND *before* the second guide word.
Think of the guide words as two slices of bread. Your word is the filling—it has to be in between them to make a sandwich! If your word comes before the first guide word or after the second one, it's not on that page.
The Letter-by-Letter Check
When the first letters are the same, you must compare the second letters. If those are the same, compare the third letters, and so on, until you find a difference.
