The Category Rule
Every member in a group must fit the category name.
When you have a category, like 'School Subjects,' check every word to make sure it is a school subject. If a word isn't, it doesn't belong in the group.
The Shared Attribute Rule
All members of a group must share at least one important feature.
Look for what the words have in common. The words `rain`, `snow`, and `hail` all share the attribute of being 'types of precipitation,' so they belong in a group together.

Choose the most specific and strongest connection between words.
A `robin`, a `blue jay`, and a `sparrow` are all 'animals,' but a stronger, more specific connection is that they are all 'types of birds.' Alway...
