The 'What's It Mostly About?' Question After reading a paragraph, always ask yourself: 'What is this paragraph MOSTLY about?' Use this question to find the main idea. The answer shouldn't be just one small detail, but the big idea that all the other sentences are talking about. Details are the Proof Supporting details must connect back to the main idea and explain it more. Think of details as clues.
