Key Rules & Conventions
The No '-ed' Rule
Irregular verbs do not add '-ed' for the past tense.
These words change in a special, tricky way. We have to remember their past tense form.
Time Clue Words
Look for words like 'yesterday', 'last night', or 'before'.
These words tell you the action already happened. You need to use a past tense verb!
