The Blueprint Rule: One Complete Thought, One Structure
A complete sentence must contain at least one independent clause.
Think of an independent clause (Subject + Predicate = Complete Thought) as a complete architectural blueprint. If your sentence doesn't have this core blueprint, it's a fragment. If it has two or more blueprints improperly smashed together, it's a run-on.
