The Opposite Clue Rule
Look for a word that is an opposite to find the meaning.
When you see a new word, hunt for its opposite in the sentence. Words like 'but' or 'not' are often signals for an antonym clue.
Think the Opposite
If the clue word means UP ⬆️, the new word means DOWN ⬇️.
Once you find the antonym clue, think of its opposite. That will be the meaning of the new word.
