Look, Then Record Step 1: Observe. Step 2: Record. Always use your eyes first to find a clue. Then, draw or write it down so you don't forget. One at a Time Touch each item as you count it. Say the number out loud. This rule helps you count correctly. You won't miss any or count one twice! Know Your Mission Decide what you are looking for BEFORE you start. Are you looking for colors? Shapes? Or how many? Your mission is your plan.
